I'm Marco. I lead an engineering team at Entelect, placed on Capitec's app team. I started at Skynamo, then moved to Entelect on a team at Standard Bank, where I grew into leading it.
I care more about honest feedback than comfortable silence. Growing people, not just managing their tasks.
Outside work I spend most of my time with my wife and our dogs. The rest goes to side projects in Rust and Odin, digital art (no AI), and Magic: The Gathering.
This site is where I put projects, books I'm reading, and the occasional post.
